WHAT YOU NEED
- Dripper (for this guide, we’re using the Hario v60)
- Paper Filter appropriate for your dripper
- Mug or Decanter
- 25 grams of coffee (medium-fine grind)
- Boiling Water
- 2.5 minutes
Place the paper filter inside the dripper.
Wet the filter with a bit of hot water to eliminate the papery taste.
Place the dripper with the wet filter on top of your mug or decanter, and then place your setup on the scale.
Bloom the coffee with 60 grams of water for 45-50 seconds, saturating all the grounds.
Once 45-50 seconds of blooming is up, pour the boiling water using the kettle at a steady medium rate and a circular motion in the center. Total brew time is about 2.5 minutes.
Enjoy your coffee!
